Rooted in Family, Farming, and the North Coast

Trinity River Vineyards is a family farm and winery built on three generations of farming and winemaking. We believe great wine begins with responsible farming and a deep respect for the land, water, and communities that make our region special.

Our wines are made with grapes sourced from Trinity, Humboldt, and Mendocino Counties, reflecting the diverse character of California’s North Coast.

Farming with a Purpose

We are proud to be Fish Friendly Certified and Certified Sustainable, reflecting our long-term commitment to responsible agriculture and healthy waterways.

As no-till farmers, we work to protect the soil and keep our waterways clean. We take pride in the clear, clean stormwater runoff from our property and have spent years restoring riparian areas along nearby streams and rivers, helping return them to a healthy mix of native flora and fauna.

Our commitment to sustainability extends throughout our operation. We work to reduce energy and water use, minimize waste, and limit chemical interventions—both organic and conventional—whenever possible.

Water & Energy Stewardship

Water is one of our most important resources. Our water system is recycled, and all winery wastewater is treated on site and reused to irrigate our crops.

Our electrical needs are 100% supplied by solar generation, allowing us to reduce our reliance on conventional energy and further minimize our environmental impact.

We believe sustainability isn't a marketing slogan—it's an ongoing responsibility. We are proud to carry forward the farming traditions of three generations while continually looking for better ways to care for the land and produce wines that reflect the character of the North Coast.Where to find our Humboldt wines, click here.

Our Mission

We believe great wine starts with healthy land, clean water, and responsible farming. As a third-generation family farm and winery, we are committed to caring for the place we call home while crafting wines that reflect the character of California’s North Coast.

Through sustainable farming, water conservation, renewable energy, and ongoing stewardship of our rivers and riparian lands, we strive to leave the land better for the next generation.
